About Nola
I am a long-time resident of Northam, a regional town in Western Australia, with a husband of 45 years, 2 adult children and 2 wonderful grandchildren.
I have retired from a successful career in education as a classroom teacher in towns throughout WA and more recently as a mentor to graduate teachers within the Wheatbelt region.

Over many years I have been actively involved in several community organisations holding a variety of management and leadership roles. I currently volunteer as a Track Maintenance Volunteer for the Bibbulmun Track Foundation, as a Tour Guide at the local Pioneer Cottage for the Northam Historical Society and as a Pastoral Assistant in the local Anglican Parish.

Because I am based in the Avon Valley of regional Western Australia I am readily available to travel to any location that suits your needs, both metro and regional.

My Experience
I am an experienced and confident public speaker who will bring compassion and understanding to expressing the unique individual story of every couple.

As a primary school teacher and pastoral carer, I have
learnt to focus on each person as a unique personality who has their own story and experience that brings them to be the self they are now.

I have created many, very varied ceremonies and services over several years, each distinctive to the given occasion.

I draw upon the individual circumstances of each celebration as well as the personal, cultural, social and spiritual values of the people for whom the celebration is designed.

My style is professional and relaxed.
